My comment about the discussion of last MMCE class

Asia group made discussions with New Zealand group and Guatemala group. I made a discussion with New Zealand group.

I could understand there are many differences between New Zealand and Japan or China. For example, one of popular sports in Japan is baseball. But New Zealanders never do baseball. Popular sports in New Zealand are rugby and cricket.

I was also surprised that there is only one similarity between three countries (China, New Zealand, and Guatemala.) It is punctuality. Most of the Japanese are also punctual for appointments. I have heard that European people think it is polite to be late for appointments. So, this value seen in these three countries is different from that in Europe.

While I realized there are many differences between these three countries, I had more interest in other countries.

I could know that Japanese, Chinese and Guatemala are punctual, and this was the only similarity. Besides by the side of Guatemala, China closely resembles Japan. Especially, the custom of meal and the idea about religion and sense of time are similar. What is more, Japan and China is on same climatic zone, so life style (ex. agriculture, clothes, and skin’s color ) is almost same. And we share with same history. At first, I thought there are many great differences between China and Japan, so I felt distantly. But now, I could discover many similarities, so I thought China is a intimate country.

We had many differences between country1(New Zewland) and country2(Guatemala). So each country must have many many differences.

As a similarities, we just have 1;punctuality.

Actually each country must have more similarities, they are fewer than differences. We thought the reason why this causes is relevant to the world area.
