I knew and comparing
I knew that in NewZealand its suicide rate is
high, but Japan's
rate is higher thatn N.Z.
What I lerned from last
presentation and our examination
were a lot.
First, What I found about England are these. This country has
been never colonised!Only this country.(until The world
war 2,Japan
was nevercolonised too.This
country has long history and has court. Industrial Revolution happened this country.This country locates North henisphere
and very misty.IDV is very high level as against
Japan and Tax too.This country is famous for ・gentle・Greenwich time・B&B(Bed and
Break fast)・Double decker. Famous
peaple are ・The Beatles・Princess Diana・
Beckham・Holly Potter・Shakrspeare and more・・.
Colombia: They are very
rude about time whereas Jpanese are polite. Dance(especialy Salsa) is necessary and essencial.
If I'm not good at dance, I'll be not able to be popular with woman. I feel
relief at I'm Japanese. There are a lot of kinds of fruits (isn't grown in Japan ) like
mango, papaya,banana,avocado,pineaple. They drink freshjuice every morning.Famous
food are arupa,sancocho(soup). Chekira is the
most famous singer.Everyone knows him. 18 yeas old is
permitting age for drinking & smoking. 20 years old in Japan. This
country export flower(carnation) , coffee, emerald. They have peculiar gesture
about homosexuality, filthy. THere is not おみあい. 100& love marrige.
New zealand: In this country
, suicide rate is high. Rugby and criket are famous. Pregnancy in tenager
is high. Weather is cold like Hokkaido.
There is volcano and earthquake. Wine is famous. There are a lot of sheep. The
number is more than people. Peaople are very proud of
Maori culture and learn Maori language in elementary school. They paay Maori dance before the game. There is famous for kiwi.
Kiwi has 3 meaning. 1. Fruit 2. animal(bird) 3.
peaple name.
This time I studied intercultual
matter, I had a lot of surprise and
new finding. THANK YOU!!

Last week's lesson was very fun. Because we
could know other country's cultures (New Zealand,
Colombia).
But I think that we only know information of their cultures. At First
class of MMCE, you said "異文化理解 is not only to know other country's culture!!"
Then I think "OH...That's right!! I understand..." However I
could not understand the keystone of the classes on July 13, 20. And I didn't
try to learn about more culture, images, facts and so on. Now, I reflect that I
try to gather information positively, talk about them with many classmates.
Well, below is answer what you have learned about your countries and
yourselves.
:In values
Country scores of Masculinity are the UK(66),
Colombia(64),
NewZealand(58). But Japan(95) is very high, so Japane's individuality score is (46). It is lower than
other country. I think that Japanese have strong stereotype about gender. And colombia
and NewZealand were colony, they probably have many
power against to independent. It may connect with individuality.

Soccor is popular sport in the world.
Clombia drink fresh juice every morning, and England drink
afternoon tea.
It is important for Colombia
that you enjoy chatting in the meeting. And Mr.Keeth
said "It is important to have sence of humore!" I was surprised to hear that. In Japan, Japanese
are fussy about time, and no more chat in the meeting. Therefore we don't
say our opinion, so we have not good idea,I think.
In this discussion, I think that I don't
know anything about other cultures, we tend to think that Japan is
central of the world. (日本を中心に考える傾向がある。）It is similar to map of the world, and it is funny. On the contrary,
many foreigners have mistake of Japane or Japan's image.
But it is natural, they don't have interest in Japan, too. In all of MMCE's class, the most interesting activity is 異なる２つの民族に分かれて、ロールプレイした授業。

First, I knew about a lot of
differences between my images and true. For example, I had been thinking that
people in England drink tea everyday in afternoon and, people are interested in
other countries, but they were not true.I knew that
these differences come from the dsifferences of four dimmensions. Most clearent
difference of dimmensions is IDV. England 's one
is very high, but Japanese has low one. I thought it means that in England it is
important to have individualities. So, some people who are not interented in Japan don't have many informations. Japanese are tend to act in a group, but I
think that in England
they have no idea like me. It was one of my surprised thing. I think that it was
so good to four dimmensions.
First, I couldn't understand how to use this information, but this made it easy
to see the differences between JApan and other
countries.
And then, I thought that it is important
and fun to have a chance to talk with foreign countries. I was looking forward
the time and it was so precious time!!! In the talking, I was surprised that
the informatins that we think famous things are not
all famous. For example, Mr. Keeth said that King
Cross Station is not famous. The poster which we made from informatins
from friends and many other people was good!!! Every preparatins
are also well done as a group. I think that it was good thing for me to meet
group members of England,
because in my group, there are not all same ages. Because of
it, I copuld
get new informatoions and idea from them and it was
fun!!!

In some
values, at first,Individualizm is higher than
other countrys. It's big feacher.
Secondly, we often think England
doesn't have four seasons, but it has. However, there isn't it clearly
but the change ismild. So there isn't colored leaves.
And England has
long history. England
is the only country that never colonized.
Finally, some Japanese make a big misunderstanding. "IGIRISU" isn't England.
"IGIRISU" is United Kingdam, so England doesn't
only consist of "IGIRISU" but also some country do.
I would learn main industry also. I want more chance to
learn about it.
