In this comparison, I learned peculiar customs and some similarities.

Originally, these countries had original culture. The cultures remained in the countries and some cultures descended to other countries. Then these countries got new cultures. In the country’s history, they did it again and again. So, sometimes, although one thing is not the country’s original culture, the culture may match with the new descended country than the original country.

These countries have customs and cultures peculiar to each country, but they have many similarities between them. They have similarities except their traditional cultures. In addition, although they do not locate in Europe, they are influenced by Europe. Because the countries were colony and they have strong connection with other countries now. The similarities will be in all over the world.

I think Japan also has these similarities. Japan had been influenced by Asia and Europe, America until now, and Japanese adopted the cultures greatly. Without them, we can not maintain today’s our lives.

RK: USA

I learned a lot of things from Peer Teaching and Group consolidation. I could know differences and similarities of USA, Kenya, Colombia, and Japan. It is interesting for me that any of USA, Kenya, Colombia was independent from foreign rule countries. And, they have original histories.

I thought USA is mixed a lot of cultures. When we imagine about USA, we could mention a lot of things easily. But these are almost major culture. I want to know more minor culture. When I did Peer Teaching with Kenya group, I thought I told them usual information about USA and Kenya group would know these things. But there are a lot of races in USA. So, I want to tell them more uninformed things. I should have examined ethnic culture and asked it to USA guests before. I should have needed to make them learn from new information about USA.

Both of Kenya and Colombia has uninformed culture. That made me surprise and interested. I knew a lot of new information from USA guests before. But USA has another broad and minor cultures. And, any of these are interesting for foreign people. As I am interested USA , I think I will study and examine about USA culture anytime.
