If  I'm the mayor of a big city, I will ask the city council for advice. But it's a small town, it must have more homey atmosphere.

 

(Not Individualism) Why not ? EEEEBecause it's Collectivism. In collectivist cultures individuals are bounded

                                             through strong personal and protective ties based on loyalty to the group

                                             during one's lifetime and often beyond (mirrored on family ties).

(Masculinity) Why? EEEEWhere the masculine index is high, people tend to value having a high opportunity

                               for earnings, getting the recognition they deserve when doing a good job, having

                               an opportunity for advancement to a higher-level job,and having challenging work

                               to do to derive a sence of accomplishment.

He might have been unemployed for a long time because times are hard ! He must need some money

to live. At least he doesn't think the world owes him a living, so it's OK with me to pay some money

for his music.  In addition some of the strolling guitarists will be able to be the big stars in the future. 

So it's a good chance to make friends before he'll be famous !!

 

(Power distance) Why? EEEEOnce I worked as a secretary at an American company when I was in my

                                     twenties. However I was fired because I made a mistake. Then I thought if

                                     it had been a Japanese company, they wouldn't have fired me. In my

                                     subconsciousness, I may have the feeling to help the weak.

I may expect her a little formal outfit, but it depends on the weather or the area (for example, Hawaii,

Singapole etc@EEE) So it doesn't matter what the woman is wearing. I appreciate her kindness. As far as

I'm conserned I probably don't wear such an informal outfit when I meet a customer.

 

(Uncertainty Avoidance) Why? EEEEWhen uncertainty avoidance is strong, a culture tend to perceive

                                               unknown situations as threatening so that people tend to avoid

                                               them. However when uncertainty avoidance is weak, people tend to

                                               be more open to innovations,risk,etc.
