Almost a half of Guatemalans are descendants of Mayan Indians, 45% Westernized Mayans
and Mestizos ( European descendants and mixed ) are known in local Spanish as Ladinos 55%.
Most of Guatemala's population is rural, though urbanization is accelerating.

Climate:  Hot - not completely true

Guatemala's climate varies according to altitude. The lowlands regions are tropical hot with
an average temperature of  20 sometimes rising to 37.
Near the center of the country is cooler with an average temperature of 17 sometimes
     rising to 24.

    Geography:

Guatemala is not an island country, it is not in Africa, and Quito is the capital of Ecuador.
The capital of Guatemala is Guatemala City.

B Things he thinks we should know about his country

    About the Banana

It appears in the datasheet several times Guatemala related with banana, not because
Guatemala's banana production, maybe because of the concept of a " banana republic ".
We can not talk formally about Guatemala, without make any reference to the banana, a fruit
linked with Guatemala's history. It has a long and harsh history.

    Mathematical Value

The Mayans are not credited with any major technological devices. However, the Mayans are
credited with a major revelation in mathematics. In 1 AD they discovered the mathematical value
for the absence of value the "0". It is not positive or negative it makes a natural starting point,
between positive and negative numbers and allows us to compute more complex operations.
